On a Personal Note:

Sitting in the waiting room one day, someone overheard a patient expressing troubles with affording prescription medication. "What a hardship to endure on top of having a serious illness!" was this person's immediate htought, and she began thinking of a solution.

Not long after, this person became an anonymous donor and made a sizable contribution to benefit patients of the Cancer Care Center - to provide lodging, medication, transportation, and other personal care needs that current oncology patients may experience.

The very week the funds became available, a patient without housing was assisted by the generous gift. Lodging was made available to the patient, who would otherwise be faced with inconvenient travel or expensive hotel costs. With a grateful heart, the assistance was accepted, and the patients cancer treatment plan was able to continue.

The next week, this special fund helped a patient purchase medication - the very same struggle that was witnessed originally by the generous donor.
