#ProtectTheHeroes COVID-19 Relief Fund
This time it’s personal. Our community hospitals are facing a severe shortage of all forms of personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as unprecedented financial challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Davis Health System Foundation has announced a grant of $25,000 in emergency assistance to Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital & Mansfield Place, and Webster County Memorial Hospital. These funds will go directly to offset the unprecedented investment of more than $100,000 in recent days to improve infection control and safely serve our communities, including:
6,400 3M N95 masks for health care workers
500 disposable isolation gowns
50 reusable isolation gowns
250 face shields
100 pairs of goggles
Construction and equipping of drive-through COVID-19 pre-screening stations at each Davis Health System community hospital
COVID-19 test medium and enhancements to laboratory processors to provide local testing with a four-hour turnaround
The need is real. The time is now. Your donation is critical to saving lives. To contribute directly to Davis Health System’s response to COVID-19 visit https://www.dhsfoundation.com/donate or contact the Davis Health System Foundation at 304-630-3043.
